More than a circus performance, ERA Intersection of Time is a journey through China's past, present and future told through jaw-dropping acrobatics, soaring music and stunning multimedia projections. A Shanghai institution since 2005, it has captivated over 5 million visitors from around the world.
Performed at the purpose-built Shanghai Circus World, ERA combines traditional Chinese acrobatics with modern stage technology. The show features awe-inspiring acts including aerial silks, hoop diving, chair balancing, motorbike globe of death, and the signature 'Dream of the Water' act.
The production is a collaboration between Chinese and international creative teams, resulting in a show that feels both authentically Chinese and universally appealing. With its dramatic lighting, original score and death-defying stunts, ERA is the gold standard of Chinese acrobatic theater.
