7 Days Mt. Genie Kora Trekking Trip (C Route)

Arrive in Chengdu and go to the reserved hotel on your own. The rest time is for you to explore the city on your own. 

Note: 
1. We will have a brief meeting today at around 7pm to check if you have prepared necessary trekking gears.
2. Hotel fee is paid. You may need to pay safety deposit which will be refunded back when you check-out.

We may depart from hotel at around 5:30am. On the way, we will pass via Zheduo Mountain (4298m). After a short rest. let's continue to drive westwards to Litang. The approximate arrival time is at 18:00 pm.

Drive: about 684km, 12hrs

Today continue to drive from Litang. After the Mt. Tiejiang Pass (4770m), we will reach Lamaya at around 12:00 noon time. Later we will continue to drive towards Eye of Genie, where we can have a closer look at the Mt. Genie, Mt. Xiaozha, etc. Later we will pay a visit to the New Lenggu Temple. After trekking through a primary forest, we will reach Hangda BC in the afternoon.

Trek: 13km, 5hrs, 500m↑ 500m‌↓

After breakfast, we will depart from BC and trek through several canyons. It's the most difficulty part today. However, during the trek, we will always have far view of Mt. Genie which will make you forget the hardness. Reach Daodao River Valley in the afternoon. Continue to trek we will reach today's base camp at around 3pm. Reti BC is the last campsite where we will have beautiful view of Mt. Genie.

Trek: 18km, 9hrs, 400m↑ 300m↓

Today will be the most diffuclty day. Start the trekking after having breakfast and we will continue to walk 5hrs and then we will reach the 4980 Pass. You will still have a view of Mt. Genie. After crossing the pass, we will say goodbye to Holy Mountain Genie. Continue to trek down and we will reach Gemu Village at around 5pm.

Trek: 22km, 10hrs, 870m↑ 1100m↓

Today we will cross the last pass. The whole trekking altitude is around 4000m. We will take a local transit vehicle (about 40mins) from Gemu Village to the Hagala Pass. Trekking from Hagala Pass to Anjiu Village takes about 5hrs. In the afternoon, we will cross a river. Please prepare upstream shoes in advance. Enjoy a hot spring (foot bath) and then follow the route to Anjiu Village. Take a local transit vehicle back to Litang.

Today we will drive from Litang to Chengdu. We may arrive Chengdu at around 19:00 pm. Due to traffic and road condition, it's very possible we may arrive even later. If you need to head to other destination, we suggest to book next day flight/train.
