Arrive in Shangri-La. Acclimatization day. Visit Songzanlin Monastery. Overnight Shangri-La.

Drive to Deqin, view Meili Snow Mountain (Kawagarbo, 6,740m) at Feilai Temple. Overnight Deqin or Xidang.

Trek from Xidang (2,650m) over Nanzong Pass (3,729m) down to Yubeng Village (3,200m). About 5-6 hours trekking. Overnight Yubeng guesthouse.

Trek to Ice Lake (4,200m), a glacial lake at the foot of Kawagarbo. About 6-7 hours round trip. Overnight Yubeng.

Trek to Sacred Waterfall (3,600m), a holy pilgrimage site for Tibetans. About 4-5 hours. Overnight Yubeng.

Trek out from Yubeng to Ninong along the Lancang River gorge. About 4-5 hours. Drive back to Deqin. Overnight Deqin.

Drive back to Shangri-La. Afternoon free or visit Dukezong Ancient Town. Transfer to airport. Tour ends.
