Pass the 28 Bends — the steepest section with the best views. Lunch at a trail guesthouse.
Arrive at Tea Horse Guesthouse. Rest, enjoy the view, dinner, and sunset.
Continue along the high trail. Descend to Tina's Guesthouse at the river level.
Optional: hike down to the Middle Tiger Leaping Rock at the river. Lunch. Drive back to Lijiang (arrive ~5 PM).
